What are pellets?
Each pellet is made of sawdust that is compressed to achieve high heating power. The particular cylindrical slug format makes pellets very practical: it is possible to store them in a garage, a storeroom, a larder, even for those living in flats.
You can stock up with pellets once or twice and you will be autonomous for the whole winter!

Why are pellets convenient?
|
Compared to traditional fuels such as diesel oil or methane, pellets are much more:
- economical, as they cost less
- clean, as they are completely natural and they don't soil
- ecological, as they don't emit substances that are noxious for the atmosphere.

Why are pellets always available?
Artel is not just a distributor, but it is also a producer of high quality pellets By using exclusively Artel pellets, your stove will last longer.
Rest assured: pellets will always be on hand!
Recognise quality pellets
They must be cylinders with a constant diameter and have a smooth shiny surface.
Inside the packaging there should not be excessive free sawdust.
Pour a few pellets into a basin of water. If they are quality pellets, they will sink, if not, they will float.
Check that the packaging is airtight since pellets tend to absorb humidity. Humidity doesn't just reduce the thermal power and increase the quantity of smoke emitted, but it also causes product swelling, which could create problems within the heater.
